Darren is the husband to Jémel and father to Elijah. He was raised in a nominal Christian home, under the teaching of Roman Catholicism. In high school, he attended a weekly Bible study group and felt a desire to follow the Lord, yet sin reigned in his life. He then came to faith in his early twenties under the power and conviction of Holy Spirit and experienced a radical transformation, thus becoming a new creature and finding rest in Christ’s victory over sin and death. He committed himself as a member and has been serving at Goodwood Baptist Church since 2020.
