Andrew grew up in Vanderbijlpark where his father served as a minister in the Anglican Church. While running a scripture union camp one-year Andrew heard the gospel being preached and his eyes were opened to the truth and he was saved.
He later worked as a teacher at Word of Life Christian School and while there felt a call to ministry. He moved to Johannesburg and served at Brackenhurst Baptist Church, first as and intern and then later as a Children’s worker, caretaker and administrator. He also began his theological studies at John Wycliff Theological Seminary.
In 2012 Andrew received a call to serve as the Pastor in training at Goodwood Baptist Church, he also married his wife Alex that year and they moved to Cape Town. It is here where Andrew completed his theological studies in 2016 at SATS and became an Elder of Goodwood Baptist in 2018.
