Colin Wyatt-Goodall

Colin Wyatt-Goodall is the husband of Melany, and the father of 3 children, Hannah, Caleb and Chelsea. He grew up in Newcastle, Kwa-Zulu Natal, where he was raised in a primarily secular home. He matriculated in 2005 and after a few years studying in Pretoria returned to take up a job in software development in 2008.

Colin was saved by the grace of God in 2010 after attending a local AFM charismatic church in the area. Here he met his wife Melany, and they were married in 2012 and moved to Cape Town. During this time Colin and Melany’s convictions began to change regarding reformed theology and in 2013 they started attending
Goodwood Baptist Church. It was here where Colin was exposed to street evangelism and his passion for the lost began. A year later he began to feel the Lord calling him to full time service. Colin began his part-time theological studies at the South African Theological Seminary in 2014 while he prepared for ministry by serving in the local church.

Colin is passionate about discipling the younger men in the church. While the primary means of equipping the saints for service in ministry is the proclamation of His word from the pulpit, the scriptures also teach that older Christians are to live as good examples and teach their younger brothers and sisters (Titus 2:1-4). He believes that these discipleship relationships are an essential part in spurring fellow Christians on to love and good works.

Colin is also involved in evangelism and is passionate about reaching the lost. He has a deep desire to take the gospel to the streets and to preach the good news to those who have not yet heard. He believes that living in obedience to Christ’s commission in Matthew 28:16-20 is essential mark of a healthy church. One day He desires to be sent out as a missionary to the unreached people of Japan.
