Wayman is married to Vincentia and father to Nathaniel and Mikayla. Though taught the Scriptures from infancy; he only bowed the knee to Christ in his mid to late teens. In his late twenties, he (finally) managed to read through the Bible cover to cover and became convinced of the truthfulness of the Doctrines of Grace and started looking for a church that was reformed in doctrine and practice. In late 2015, the Berkatt’s moved to Cape Town from Pretoria; and since they were fellowshipping at a Sola 5 church in the capital city, they decided to make GBC their church home.
